Morning Harvest

P8120476

Hey all -
enjoying fruits and flavours from the tunnel at the moment - lovely strawberries, tomatoes and peas. All my earlies have been used up (Orla variety) - was delighted with them  - great size and tasty - not floury but not too wet either!!! My friends and family were delighted with them! Cabbages were unbelievable size also....went down a dream. Pulled up my onions from outside - not a great size - don't think i watered them consistently as the ones in the tunnel are a great size and will be in for another while - Carrots are looking good will leave in for another while. Broccoli were a disaster - no sign of heads and they have been in for a good while  -- and the birds are loving the leaves --- pumpkins plants are in the ground awaiting to see how they go....my courgette plant is crazy with growth...still....all in all I have learnt alot and i guess alot more to learn ---i am learning about support (or lack off) and what it can do to plants --- also feeding and weeding and getting continous planting right!!! Loads of fun ;-)
